Job summary

Accountstaff in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Lead to drive subcontract works from planning to execution. You will oversee Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and site teams, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and administration.

You will manage contracts, budgeting, variations, and ensure timely progress claims, while coordinating with Main Contractors, Consultants and authorities. A strong focus on QA/QC and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 12–15 years in engineering or construction projects.
• Experience managing subcontract projects valued at SGD 20M+.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, costing and variation management.
• Experience collaborating with Main Contractors, Consultants and large project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for subcontract execution.
• Lead Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and site teams.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and admin functions.
• Develop execution plans, resources, and priorities.
• Oversee project scheduling, drawings, specs and method statements.
• Monitor milestones against master programme and resolve issues.
• Manage subcontract contracts, budgeting and variation orders.
• Interface with Main Contractor, Consultants and Authorities.
• Guide engineers and site teams on technical solutions.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and safety practices.
• Mentor and develop project team and allocate manpower.
