Job Description:

Job Scope: Assist the Engineering Manager and Project Managers to budget, implement, track, and monitor project costs and schedules to help deliver benefits and fulfill the site capital plan commitments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement site CAPEX process, including planning, monitoring, approval, and reporting
• Collaborate with the Site Project Manager to achieve procurement, project savings, or cost avoidance
• Provide cost estimates during the feasibility and design phases of key site projects, such as new project introductions
• Support Project Managers in preparing financial commentary for project investment proposals, including asset write-off costs and project milestones
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and cash flow
• Administer site Measured Term Contracts
• Manage and update the cost database

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (minimum 5 years for Senior position)
• Good understanding of cost estimation principles
• Understanding of plant and facilities constructability sequences
• Knowledge of GMP, GEP, and EHS requirements
• Sound commercial knowledge, including contractual law
• Basic project management skills
• Familiarity with Capital Project Financial Guidelines
