Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Operations
Own day-to-day production operations for hollow fibre membranes.
Operate, optimise, and troubleshoot hollow fibre spinning lines and downstream processes.
Support scale‑up from lab and pilot lines to industrial production.
Improve yield, consistency, throughput, and cost through structured process optimisation.
Implement and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation.
Process Control & Quality
Monitor critical process parameters (spinning, coagulation, solvent exchange, drying, potting).
Conduct in-process quality checks and root-cause analysis for defects or performance deviations.
Work closely with QA/QC on fibre geometry, mechanical integrity, and module performance.
Support process validation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Equipment & Maintenance
Work with maintenance teams on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and upgrades.
Support commissioning of new production equipment and lines.
Participate in troubleshooting mechanical, process, and material-related issues.
Safety & Compliance

Participate in risk assessments (RA), HAZID, HAZOP, and incident investigations.
Maintain compliance with SHE, regulatory, and internal safety requirements.
Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams to translate membrane requirements into manufacturable products.
Support pilot trials, customer sampling, and scale-up runs when required.
Train technicians and junior staff on production processes and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing / production operations, preferably in hollow fibre membranes, polymers, fibres, films, or related continuous processes; OR
Industrial chemical, materials, or process manufacturing with strong hands‑on exposure.
Strong understanding of production operations, process discipline, and problem‑solving.
Practical, hands‑on mindset with strong ownership of outcomes.
Preferred
Direct experience in hollow fibre membrane spinning or module fabrication.
Experience scaling processes from pilot to production.
Exposure to polymer processing, fibre extrusion, membrane modules, or similar unit operations.
Ability to lead technicians and coordinate daily production activities.
Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
