Job Description

Join our innovative team as a Production Technician specializing in the production of polymeric and hollow fiber membranes. This role is pivotal in operating fiber production equipment, conducting in‑process quality inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in an organic solvent nanofiltration environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain fiber production equipment specifically designed for the production of hollow fiber membranes.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
• Conduct in‑process quality inspections to ensure that products meet stringent company and industry standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a high standard of safety, health, and environmental care within the organic solvent nanofiltration process.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and improve process efficiency, ensuring the achievement of production targets.
• Manage and document inventory levels, usage, and replacement of equipment and tools to maintain seamless production operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production techniques and reducing waste.

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or equivalent, technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in operating hollow fibre membrane production equipment and performing maintenance tasks, preferably within a membrane production setting.
• Strong understanding of the production processes involved in polymeric and hollow fibre membrane manufacturing.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in various shifts as the production schedule demands.
