Job summary

Binance is seeking a product leader to set the direction and roadmap for backend trading systems. You will improve core platforms including matching and risk engines, while translating complex trading needs into actionable product requirements.

The role requires strong analytical skills and familiarity with financial instruments like margins and derivatives. Mandarin is preferred for global coordination, with a remote-first setup and opportunities to influence a global trading stack.

Qualifications

• Background in technical or quantitative fields is desired.
• Deep understanding of Margin, Futures, Perpetual swaps, options, and related products.

Responsiblities:

• Set the product direction and roadmap forbackend trading systems.
• Improve core systems like matching engine, risk engines, pricing models for derivatives products including but not limited to Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts etc.
• Work with the trading engineering teams to turn complex trading needs into technical solutions.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launch.
• Monitor backend performance and fix issues before they impact users.
• Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Product experience is not a must but preferred.
• Deep understanding of Financial products like Margin, Futures, Perpetual swaps, options etc.
• Technical or quantitative background (e.g., CS, Financial Engineering, Math).
• Ability to understand trading logics, risk methods, and translate them into product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to coordinate with global stakeholders and overseas partners.
