Job summary

trust recruit pte. ltd. seeks a senior Technical Support / Applications Engineering professional in Singapore to oversee technical specifications, drawings, and BOM control.

You will coordinate with HQ, QA and Logistics on multi-functional projects and help drive the department forward. Role requires a degree in engineering, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and 5–8 years in related fields, with leadership experience and risk management credentials.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5–8 years' experience in product engineering, applications engineering, or technical support in pneumatic, automation or precision components industries preferred.
• Experience leading a small team or owning technical escalations is strongly preferred.
• Valid Risk Assessment certification (e.g. WSQ Risk Assessment / bizSAFE) required for overseeing assembly SOP and workplace safety.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOM documentation.
• Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
• Clear communicator with overseas HQ liaison capability.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to manage priorities in a lean team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and verify technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs for Company’s products.
• Maintain accuracy and version control of technical documentation and records.
• Review updates from HQ and flag discrepancies or local concerns.
• Support technical specifications for a growing semiconductor customer base.
• Serve as technical reference for sales, customers, and distributors on product fitment and compatibility.
• Prepare accurate technical responses to queries.
• Coordinate with QA and logistics to resolve non-conformance issues.
• Liaise with HQ engineering on specification clarifications and product updates.
• Assist in developing internal technical reference materials and SOPs.
• Plan and lead internal rollout of engineering spec changes issued by HQ, including timelines and approvals.
• Coordinate cross-functional input from Sales, QA, and Logistics on projects.
