Job summary

An aerospace company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to ensure adherence to airworthiness in product design. You will be responsible for product development, leading teams, and conducting tests in collaboration with R&D. The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical and product design, proficient in Autodesk tools, and capable of communicating effectively in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical and product design.
• Knowledge of product design, solid mechanics, and material science.
• Familiar with FAA or EASA design data approval procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the product design complies with airworthiness requirements.

Job description

Job Responsibilities: -

• Ensure that the product design is in compliance with the airworthiness requirements.
• Responsible for the technical aspects of product development, ensuring products meet requirements, are manufacturable and are high quality. This includes tasks from design and testing to troubleshooting and leading teams.
• Work closely with the R&D team in designing, preparing and conducting test in new product developments.
• Manage project schedule timely.
• Carry out products fundamental engineering calculations such as mechanics and thermal properties.
• Liaise with aircraft manufacturers and airline for product development and certifications.

Job Requirement: -

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to communicate in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical and product design.
• Knowledge of product design, solid mechanics and material science.
• Familiar with FAA or EASA design data approval procedures and airworthiness regulations, such as FAR/ CS 25, 21, 145 etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent and self-motivated.
