Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Payments team in Singapore. You will own design outcomes and quality for a cross-functional problem space team, influencing adjacent groups. Report to the Senior Design Manager, Payments and be based onsite at Grab One North.

You will lead discovery, craft end-to-end payment experiences, contribute to the design system, and ensure user-centered, high-quality interfaces that drive business impact.

Get to Know the Role

As a Senior Product Designer on the Payments team, you will own Product Design outcomes, practice and quality for a cross-functional Problem Space Team, with influence on adjacent teams. You will work in a highly collaborative fashion, exploring the needs of our users and creating impactful solutions for the business.

You will directly report to the Senior Design Manager, Payments and be based onsite at Grab One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Own Product Design outcomes in a problem space team, effectively and engaging in with the team and their stakeholders; with growing influence on adjacent teams.
• Ensure we design the right experiences - aligning stakeholders to achieve balanced business-driving user-centeredness.
• Effectively explain rationales, insights, processes and standards in a compelling and engaging manner to stakeholders.
• Own team discovery discussions, workshops and problem exploration activities, facilitating collaboration and idea generation within the team.
• Own solution discovery and delivery in your problem space team.
• Apply design-thinking frameworks and user-centered principles to guide the team in exploring the problem space.
• Design impactful new product experiences and features; creating end-to-end flows for complex user experiences.
• Demonstrate consistent, engaging, impactful interaction design by the application of human factors and HCI to complex problems.
• Contribute to the design system by owning and documenting new components and/or enhancements to existing components.
• Leverage prototyping to ensure delivery of seamless and delightful experiences.
