Job summary

OKX in Singapore is seeking a Senior Product Designer for Global Exchange to shape CEX product experiences across Manual Trading, Trading Strategy, Social & VIP, Growth, and Institutional teams.

You’ll design data-dense interfaces, create end-to-end user journeys, prototypes, and production-ready designs, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Data to deliver impactful outcomes.

About the Opportunity

We’re continuously meeting product design talent interested in shaping the future of centralized exchange products at OKX.

Our CEX Product Design team works across Manual Trading, Trading Strategy, Social & VIP, Growth, and Institutional products. Depending on your experience, interests, and our current hiring needs, we’ll explore relevant opportunities across different teams and levels.

We design products for complex, fast-moving financial environments. Our work spans high-frequency and high-consideration user journeys, data-dense interfaces, trading and investment decisions, social experiences, and products serving both individual and institutional customers.Designers partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, Data, and other functions from early exploration through delivery and iteration. We care about interaction quality and visual craft, but also expect designers to understand the product deeply, navigate constraints, and influence the decisions that shape the customer experience.

Depending on team needs and your interests, your work may focus on:

Manual Trading — helping customers discover markets, analyze information, place and manage trades, and understand their positions.

Trading Strategy — designing tools and workflows that help customers create, discover, evaluate, and manage trading strategies.

Social & VIP — building differentiated experiences for social trading, communities, creators, and high-value customers.

Growth — improving acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and cross-product discovery across the customer journey.

Institutional — designing sophisticated, efficient, and trustworthy products for professional and institutional customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

The scope of the role will vary according to your experience and area of ownership. You may:

Design clear, intuitive, and trustworthy experiences for complex and data-intensive products.

Turn customer insights, product strategy, business goals, and technical constraints into coherent user journeys and detailed interactions.

Work across the end-to-end design process, from problem framing and early exploration to prototyping, delivery, validation, and iteration.

Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs with a high level of interaction and visual craft.

Partner closely with Product and Engineering to evaluate trade-offs, resolve ambiguity, and take work from concept through implementation.

Use qualitative research, product analytics, experimentation, and market understanding to inform and evaluate design decisions.

Present your work clearly, explain the reasoning behind your decisions, and use feedback to improve the outcome.

Contribute to consistent, scalable experiences across platforms, markets, and product areas.

Help strengthen design quality, collaboration, and customer-centered decision-making across the organization.

At more senior levels, you’ll be expected to define product and design direction, lead ambiguous cross-functional initiatives, influence decisions across teams, and raise the quality of design practice.

What We Look For In You

Experience designing and delivering digital products. We hire across multiple levels, and assess experience according to the scope, complexity, autonomy, and impact demonstrated in your work.

A portfolio that shows how you frame problems, explore alternatives, make decisions, craft interactions, and measure or evaluate outcomes—not only final screens.

Strong product thinking and the ability to connect customer needs with business goals and technical realities.

Strong interaction design and information architecture skills, especially for complex workflows or data-rich interfaces.

A high standard of visual craft and attention to detail.

Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.

The ability to communicate clearly, explain your reasoning, and build alignment with cross-functional partners.

Comfort working through ambiguity, changing priorities, and incomplete information.

The ability to take ownership, follow through on details, and help teams turn ideas into shipped experiences.

Genuine interest in learning about centralized exchange products and the customers who use them.

Nice to Haves

Experience designing products in trading, investment, fintech, crypto, or other complex financial domains.

Experience with data-intensive products, professional tools, marketplaces, or high-stakes customer journeys.

Experience using research, experimentation, and product analytics to guide design decisions.

Experience designing for customers across multiple markets, cultures, languages, or regulatory environments.

Experience contributing to or working with a mature design system across platforms.

At senior or staff level, experience mentoring designers, leading cross-team initiatives, or raising design quality beyond your immediate product area.
