Job summary

OKX is seeking an experienced Product Manager to develop and maintain core API trading products. You will manage internal and external stakeholders, translate user stories into API specs, and drive product iterations aligned with market needs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in trading platforms, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and business teams across global offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management or Engineering, preferably related to trading or technology platforms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance.
• Proactive and self-driven with a data-driven mindset, strong teamwork and clear communication.
• Proficiency in English; conversational Mandarin preferred for cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and API feedback from internal and external sources and drive iterative API improvements.
• Study competitive landscape and industry trends to create actionable API iteration plans.
• Utilize data analytics to derive insights on client behaviour and API usage.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to develop and maintain our core API trading products. This includes managing internal and external stakeholders, developing product iteration plans, establishing and maintaining standards, translating user stories into an API specification, completing competitor analysis, and more.

  Gather business requirements and API feedback from both internal and external sources, such as feedback from institutional customers, and continuously improve the API product through effective iterative mechanisms.

  Study the competitive landscape and industry trends, transforming this information into actionable API product iteration plans that align with the company's actual needs.

  Utilize data analytics to create data-driven insights to understand client behaviour.
• -
  Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with customers and strategic partners, using their feedback to guide product enhancements and future development.

What We Look For In You

• -
  Demonstrates a strong interest in both the blockchain and finance industries.
• -
  Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management or Engineering, preferably related to trading or technology platforms.
• -
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance.
• -
  Proactive and self-driven, with a logical and data-driven mindset, strong team collaboration skills, and effective communication abilities.
• -
  Proficiency in English & Conversational Mandarin (preferred to cross functionally communicate with non-english speaking engineers).

Nice-To-Haves

  Experience in crypto, blockchain, building businesses, fintech, and/or financial markets.

  Experience in trading financial products, such as stocks, funds, forex, futures, options.

  Knowledge in data analytical tools like Python and SQL.
