Job summary

Senior Product Designer to lead the design of one product team in teaching and learning. You will work directly with a product manager and engineers as the designer on the team, taking work from discovery through to delivery.

Lead end-to-end design, run research with students and teachers, ensure consistency with the wider product ecosystem, and contribute to shared design patterns. Reporting to the Design Lead, you will mentor peers and collaborate with other designers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in digital product design with a portfolio of complex products
• Strong interaction and visual design, prototyping, accessibility for content-heavy interfaces
• Experience owning design for a product area and collaborating with PMs and engineers
• Hands-on user research and usability testing
• Ability to explain design decisions clearly in ambiguous situations
• Attention to detail and consistency across products
• Thoughtful use of AI tools in design workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead design end-to-end for your product team from discovery to delivery
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to shape scope and ship features
• Plan and run user research and usability testing; synthesize findings
• Work with education technology and curriculum specialists to align content and UI
• Contribute to shared design patterns and align with other teams
• Participate in critiques and support fellow designers
