Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to ensure product designs meet airworthiness requirements. You will work with R&D on new product testing, manage project schedules, and perform essential engineering calculations. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, proficient in design tools, and has at least 4 years of relevant experience. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

Senior Product Engineer

Job Responsibilities: -

• Ensure that the product’s design is in compliance with the airworthiness requirements.

• Work closely with the R&D team in designing, preparing and conducting tests in new product developments.

• Manage project schedule timely.

• Carry out products’ fundamental engineering calculations such as mechanics and thermal properties.

• Laise with aircraft manufacturing and airline for product certifications.

Job Requirement: -

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in mechanical and product design.

• Knowledge of product design, solid mechanics and material science.

• Familiar with FAA or EASA design data approval procedures and airworthiness regulations, such as FAR/ CS 25, 21, 145 etc.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Independent and self-motivated.
