Job summary

Nomura is seeking a skilled Finance Controller to join the Treasury Business Finance Control team in Singapore. You will own P&L integrity across Treasury and Corporate books, drive regional funding analysis, and partner with Treasury Desk Heads to optimize funding costs. Leadership of onshore and offshore teams is expected.

The role requires extensive experience in treasury, fixed income products, and accounting governance, with strong stakeholder communication to senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Product Control/finance with treasury or fixed income focus.
• Experience with treasury or fixed income products (repos, deposits, FX swaps, interest rate derivatives).
• Strong understanding of accounting entries and hedge accounting.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own daily/monthly P&L integrity for Treasury & Corporate books with revenue attribution.
• Oversee regional issuance entity from Treasury PC perspective; manage funding sources/uses.
• Ensure control standards and governance; escalate gaps to management.
• Partner with Treasury Desk Heads to optimize funding costs and provide analytics.
