Senior Procurement Operations Specialist

Introduction

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Finance - Procurement or Manager Business System Operations, this position will execute the strategic roadmap to improve procurement and spend management processes at Optimizely. The role is pivotal in managing day-to-day procurement activities and partnering with stakeholders to act as the business expert in spend management at a transactional level.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sr. Director or Manager in ensuring accurate data entry by business stakeholders and smooth flow of procurement processes according to SLAs.
  • Support contracting, deal analysis, and supplier management activities.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders align with Requests and Contracts, contain correct accounting info, and are transmitted correctly to NetSuite.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity from request to contract signature, mastering all contracted spend across the business.
Knowledge and Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of overall business experience.
  • 1-3 years in procurement operations or spend management roles.
  • At least 1+ year of hands-on experience with procurement software/tools like Coupa or SAP Ariba.
  • Extensive financial knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Operations Analysis, or a related field from an accredited university.
