Job description

The Job:

• Strategic Sourcing
• Identify and qualify novel suppliers and technologies for mid- to long-term innovation projects
• Ensure full alignment of supplier selection with the Global Category Strategy and procurement governance standards.
• Lead risk mitigation during the sourcing process through robust contract negotiation, including clauses for IP protection, supply continuity, and liability management
• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers, including those with strong market positions or unique technologies, to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborate with Technology Development teams on early-stage technology scouting and feasibility assessments.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Support patent coordination and government project declarations where applicable.

The Requirements:

• Master’s degree/ Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Procurement, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in raw materials or chemicals.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially in high-risk or monopolistic supplier scenarios
