Job summary

NTU seeks a seasoned Procurement Category Lead to guide category strategy for Construction and Facility Management, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver cost-effective, compliant procurement outcomes. You will lead teams, drive supplier relationships, and ensure governance across projects in a dynamic higher education setting.

You will develop and execute tender roadmaps, coach staff, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize value while safeguarding safety and quality

Qualifications

10–12 years in Construction and/or Facility management procurement.
Experience in public sector or large complex organisations is preferred.
Leadership experience in managing procurement teams.
Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier governance.

Responsibilities

Lead category management for Construction and Facility Management.
Develop tender roadmaps and oversee procurement tenders.
Evaluate cost drivers and identify saving opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups.
Coach and mentor procurement staff; drive governance and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
