Qualifications

Job Description & Requirements :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join our team. He or She will play a pivotal role in managing our company's procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will need to have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and a proven track record of optimizing purchasing strategies to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Negotiate supply to secure the best price & quality of goods & services and contractual terms.
2. Manage supplier relationships, resolve supplier issues, and supply risks.
3. Oversee Procurement activities include PR requisition for delivery, ensuring timely orders fulfillment without impacting Sales Operations.
4. Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, demands and specifications.
5. Analyse market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.
6. Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and new sourcing opportunities to enhance procurement capabilities.
7. Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines during the procurement process.
8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior Buyer, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma/ Degree in Business/Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Possesses at least 3 ~ 5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing as a Procurement Lead.
3. Strong understanding of supply chain and purchasing processes.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
