Job description

Connect Energy is looking for this role to work for a marine engineering company for a 2 years contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in organizing technical and commercial clarification meetings with vendors.
2. Evaluate the best bids according to the company's requirements.
3. Prepare purchase contracts, clearly indicating the specification requirements, terms, and conditions.
4. Manage purchase contracts to ensure vendors fulfill the entire contract obligations.
5. Monitor post-purchase order activities such as vendor's design and engineering progress, manufacturing progress, and delivery status.
6. Expedite vendor data and submissions.
7. Resolve any discrepancies relating to materials/equipment delivered.
8. Participate in auditing subcontractors' facilities when required.

Requirements:

1. ONLY SINGAPOREANS NEED APPLY
2. Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
3. Minimum 3 years' experience in a purchasing role, especially in O&G/shipyard/marine & offshore industry.
4. Able to commit to a two (2) years contract.
5. Team player and able to work independently.
6. Able to multitask.
7. Able to work overtime when required.
8. Willing to work in the northern part of Singapore.
