Job description

We are looking for a (Senior) Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team at CEI Pte. Ltd.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • RFQ for mechanical, electro-mech commodity; per customer specification or propose alternatives
  • Quote Leader for assigned customers, responsible for BOM submission
  • Cost reduction and alternate sourcing program for new and existing projects
  • Supplier base management covering Quality, Delivery, Cost and Contract finalization
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments for First Article Approval
  • System set up for approved parts and suppliers
  • Project management
  • Able to read technical drawings / specifications
  • Contribute to the company risk management process in accordance with your position and duties / responsibilities
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor
  • Preferably with sheet metal and machining experience & supplier base.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferably with Oracle and/or SAP module knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point
  • Basic electrical / electronic components knowledge preferred
