Qualifications

  • Manage RFQs for mechanical and electro-mech commodities.
  • Liaise with suppliers for first article approval.
  • Conduct cost reduction and alternate sourcing programs.

Job description

We are looking for a (Senior) Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team at CEI Pte. Ltd.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. RFQ for mechanical, electro-mech commodities; per customer specifications or propose alternatives.
  2. Quote leader for assigned customers, responsible for BOM submission.
  3. Cost reduction and alternate sourcing programs for new and existing projects.
  4. Manage supplier base, covering quality, delivery, cost, and contract finalization.
  5. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments for first article approval.
  6. Set up systems for approved parts and suppliers.
  7. Project management.
  8. Read technical drawings and specifications.
  9. Contribute to the company's risk management process according to your duties and responsibilities.
  10. Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  11. Preferably have sheet metal and machining experience with suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferably with Oracle and/or SAP module knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic electrical/electronic components knowledge preferred.
