Senior Process Technician with API background. Pfizer Singapore is recruiting permanent employees for manufacturing site expansion of PFIZER ASIA MANUFACTURING PTE LTD (PAMPL) in Singapore.

What You Will Achieve
You will operate automatic and manual chemical/fermentation process equipment of varying complexity in production processes in accordance with operating procedures. You will perform quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identify variations. You will be trained in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures as processes may generate high pressure or critical reactions.
As part of the Technical Operations team, you will apply your knowledge to adapt standard methods and procedures. You will help identify delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality, and decide which methods are the best fit for different work situations. Your hard work will help Pfizer reach new milestones and help patients globally.
How You Will Achieve It
- Perform material receiving, staging, material movement, dispensing, sampling, filter inspection, change out and charging operation as per SOP.
- Perform in-process sampling, routine DIW sampling, intermediate and finished goods pack-out as per SOP.
- Perform start-up, routine operations and shutdown of plant auxiliary equipment such as DIW plant, scrubber system, and Emergency Vent system.
- Perform pre-campaign setup, post-campaign activities, and change over cleaning.
- Monitor process operation, trend and alarms using Delta V control system.
- Ensure proper communication and handover of shift duties.
- Update Manufacturing Standard Work and Operation Standard Work; complete documentation according to GMP and GDP standards.
- Monitor plant status and liaise with other departments to prevent interruptions to manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot deviations and coordinate with other functions as required.
- Prepare and clean equipment for maintenance work; take action to resolve near misses and report all actual, near misses and potential accidents for investigation.
- Assist in investigations of all actual, near misses and potential accidents.
- Provide information to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues independently.
- Perform system transactions and operations such as LIMS, AMPS, SAP, MTS, EMAS, etc.
- Complete required training (scheduled training, CBT, OJT, JSA) and read and understand documentation.
- Identify and communicate operating deviations and problems; participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Assist in project commissioning and validation activities as necessary.
- Perform tasks in assigned process trains, including day-to-day operation, equipment and line cleaning, and documentation.
- Perform operator care, address equipment train observations requiring mitigation action, and raise work orders as needed.
- Uphold Pfizer's code of conduct and values; be accountable for meeting production plans, safe operations, SOP adherence, safety compliance, cGMP compliance, and maintaining audit readiness.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industry
- Demonstrate ability to act decisively and independently to resolve issues
- Possess a can-do/pride-to-succeed attitude
- Embrace the use of digital technology for core manufacturing processes
- Fully complete Covid-19 vaccination and provide official medical certificate
