Job summary

CTCI Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Exhaust Engineer for semiconductor FAB facilities. You will lead design, equipment selection and interface coordination to ensure safe, reliable exhaust systems tested and commissioned to meet project requirements.

The role requires on-site presence in Woodlands North, Singapore, with a contract length of 36 months. Responsibilities include modeling airflow, coordinating with Process Tools and multidisciplinary teams, and driving regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Process Exhaust, HVAC or semiconductor FAB projects.
• Hands-on in exhaust ductwork, airflow systems, scrubbers, fans or abatement systems.
• Experience with PFDs and P&IDs, layouts and engineering drawings.
• Familiar with Process Tool exhaust requirements and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Willing to work on site and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Design FAB Process Exhaust systems including airflow, ductwork and layout.
• Develop exhaust segregation and treatment systems for various streams.
• Select and specify exhaust fans, scrubbers, ductwork and abatement equipment.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts and vendor docs.
• Perform airflow, pressure drop and duct sizing calculations.
• Coordinate interfaces with Process Tools, HVAC, Gas, Chemical, Drainage, Electrical, I&C and Facilities.
• Verify exhaust requirements and hookup points for process tools.
• Manage RFIs, design changes and site technical issues.
• Support testing, air balancing, commissioning and performance verification.
• Ensure EHS and regulatory compliance with Singapore requirements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
• Perform capacity assessments and system upgrades for new tools.
