Job summary

The GMP Group, a U.S.-based manufacturer of advanced materials and highly engineered components, seeks an experienced manufacturing engineer in Singapore to develop and optimize processes across silk screen printing, die-cutting, lamination, assembly and converting.

You will support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process parameter development and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and CAPA, while leading Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, reduce cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years in manufacturing.
• Independent, self-motivated team player able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, with knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA, Quality Control Plans (QCP) and ISO 13485 validation preferred.
• Experience in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, yield and productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems with knowledge of electrical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for silk screen printing, die-cutting, lamination, assembly and converting operations.
• Support NPI activities, including process parameter development, IQ/OQ/PQ validations and process capability studies.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues, perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and yield while reducing cycle time, scrap and costs.
• Evaluate, test, and qualify new materials, equipment, tooling, and processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication, ECN implementation, and ERP system configuration.
• Ensure processes comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, plus safety and environmental requirements.
• Support equipment installation, maintenance coordination, and process capability studies.
• Participate in customer and supplier audits and technical discussions as required.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process specifications, and other engineering documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
