Why Patients Need You

Patients need colleagues like you who take pride in their work and strive to improve outcomes. You will help ensure that patients and physicians have the medicines they need, when they need them.

What You Will Achieve

You will coordinate the manufacture of key API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) intermediates and provide technical support to process teams to sustain and improve processes. You will ensure flawless execution throughout each campaign, focusing on safety, quality, supply, and cost. Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) development will also be a key part of your role. As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute to team goals, and your ability to meet targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your communication skills will facilitate explaining complex issues and building consensus.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Lead product manufacturing campaigns from start to finish, providing technical supervision regarding quality and EHS until completion and release of the product.
  • Contribute to achieving our vision of being a best-in-class manufacturing site producing high-quality products safely.
  • Apply the IMEx way of working for daily operations, problem-solving, escalations, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop Manufacturing/Operating Instructions and SOPs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot process control system recipes/models.
  • Investigate, report, and troubleshoot quality and EHS issues observed during manufacturing or batch review.
  • Implement preventive measures for processing issues.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor and improve processes and equipment proactively.
  • Communicate process updates regularly to plant personnel.
  • Train technicians on processes and procedures as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures, emphasizing good data management (ALCOA).
  • Prioritize safety and GMP compliance, and maintain data integrity.
  • Investigate and address behaviors that may impact GMP processes.
  • Manage GMP systems and prepare for audits.
  • Develop solutions and drive implementation.
  • Ensure flawless execution of projects by monitoring performance metrics and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Technical Services, to support manufacturing goals.

External Stakeholders include equipment vendors and raw material suppliers for sourcing and process improvements.

Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical) or Science (major in Chemistry). 2-3 years experience in manufacturing preferred.
