Job summary
Rotary Engineering Private Limited is seeking a Lead Process Design Engineer to drive the process design for storage terminals, refinery units and chemical plants. Responsibilities include creating PFDs, P&IDs, system descriptions and control philosophies, and performing hydraulic, heat transfer and relief calculations.
The role also involves developing instrument data sheets, reviewing vendor documents, participating in HAZOP/SIL studies and NFPA-compliant fire protection and wastewater
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas process design preferred.
- Proficient in process simulation and design calculations.
Responsibilities
- Lead process design for storage terminals, refineries and chemical plants.
- Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, system descriptions and control philosophies.
- Perform hydraulic, heat transfer and relief calculations.
- Develop and review process data sheets and instrument data sheets.
- Participate in HAZOP and SIL studies and close-out reports.
- Design fire protection and wastewater systems per NFPA.
- Conduct surge analysis and use Pipenet Transient Module.
- Review vendor documents and participate in P&ID design reviews.
