Job Title: Senior Process Control Officer x2
Reference ID: 36384

Our client, an established global trading firm, is seeking qualified applicants for a Senior Process Control Officer.

The role is responsible for managing SAP Accounting software workflows in accordance with the latest Business Process Control duties. This includes verifying workflows submitted by Business Departments against sales and purchase delivery documents, contracts, and ensuring accurate postings in the accounting system. The position also focuses on continuously reviewing and improving processes for greater efficiency while maintaining compliance with the company’s key controls.

【 Responsibilities 】
Accounting Workflow Management:
- Process and verify SAP Accounting workflows against supporting documents, including sales and purchase deliveries and contracts
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in the accounting system
- Continuously evaluate and enhance workflow processes for improved efficiency without compromising key controls

Month-End and Quarter-End Closing:
- Ensure timely and complete recording of all relevant sales, purchases, non-operating income, and expenses during the monthly closing process
- Strengthen quarter-end closing accuracy and efficiency through a structured Closing Process Checklist
- Identify opportunities to enhance the financial closing process

Vendor/Customer Bank Account Registration:
- Review and validate vendor/customer bank account registration applications from the Business and Corporate Departments
- Guide third-party or cross-border payment challenges and compliance requirements

Business Support & Compliance:
- Establish strong communication and trust with Business and Corporate Divisions to support business development, initiatives, and activities
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and financial compliance standards

Digital Transformation & Ad-Hoc Projects:
- Demonstrate interest and capability in Digital Transformation (DX)
- Independently participate in or lead department-level DX projects and other ad-hoc initiatives

【 Requirement & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 2 years (Up to 5 years) of Transactional Accounting experience, including AP, AR, and GL, sales and purchase realization, verification of sales and purchase delivery documents, and payment processing
- Comfortable to do workflow (80%) and project-based (20%)
- Proficiency in SAP Accounting is required
- Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel proficiency, and has interest/experience in Digital Transformation (DX)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills are required for the role as it involves understanding and sharing the workflows, and working with various internal stakeholders
- Able to join within 1 month or shorter

(Advantageous)
- A degree in Accounting is an added advantage
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate and Power Query is preferred
- Has prior experience in UAT
- Experience working in Trading/Japanese company is a plus
