A leading aerospace company in Singapore is seeking a Technology Manager to enhance operational performance through innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience in project management and continuous improvement. · Transform Pratt & Whitney into a high-performance Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations based on Operational Excellence (OpX) principles and latest technology for automation, connectivity, and intelligence
· Support the technology development and operations of the Singapore Technology Accelerator (STA) for technology insertion to APACT AMO sites
· Lead technology projects management and collaborate with technology vendors to perform proof of concepts and full industrialization solutions
· Collaborate with Aftermarket Operations sites for technology ideation and proof of concepts to identify improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, delivery and cost
· Use project management tools and industrial engineering concepts to deploy technology solutions related to automation, connectivity and intelligence in an engine center and repair shop operational environment
· Lead the deployment of a common technology passport framework across AMO in alignment with the RTX lifecycle program management for technology projects execution and industrialization
· Maintain a strong project documentation process to enable a develop, pilot and scale technology framework for multiple sites technology deployment
· Promote awareness and encourage technological innovation and OpX initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and operational performances
· Support the rollout of new technologies, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, supply chain, and operations) to localize solutions for different regions
· Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across global sites
· Identify and mitigate potential operational risks during technology scaling
· Support a safety first work culture that exceeds safety performance goals and strives towards zero injuries
· Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
· At least 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations and continuous improvement
· Demonstrate strong project management skills and driving change management
· Strong written & verbal communication skills
· Industry experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial business preferred
· Practical knowledge of programming languages; Python, ABB, FANUC for robotics application would be an advantage
· Industry experience in AI and Machine learning knowledge would be an advantage
· Good leadership, critical thinking and business acumen skills with the ability to innovate
· Practical knowledge of data connectivity and data structure management would be an advantage
