Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Solid-State Physics with 15+ years of related and industry experience in SiC devices.
  2. Formulate strategies and develop core technologies for high & ultra-high voltage SiC devices aimed at future power system applications and energy savings.
  3. Lead research focused on the development of SiC high-voltage Superjunction (SJ) MOSFETs, Ultra-high-voltage IGBTs, and related core technologies.
  4. Utilize advanced technology, process, and device modeling tools Silvaco, Sentaurus, or similar platforms to create state-of-the-art power MOSFET architectures.
  5. Hands-on experience with ultra-high voltage high power device characterizations analysis.
  6. Ability to foster revolutionary ideas among team members to simplify processes and reduce costs for the fabrications of ultra-high power devices.
  7. Proven track record of promoting innovative culture within teams, resulting in a robust patent portfolio in the field of SiC devices.
  8. Comprehensive knowledge of power conversion circuit topologies.
  9. Serve as the technical leader in designing best-in-class new power products.
  10. Capable of conceptualizing and establishing the groundwork for integrating high-voltage high-power devices into final modular designs to ensure reliability and adherence to safe operating areas.
  11. Lead collaborations with industry-leading partners to enhance the SiC ecosystem in the field of high-voltage devices and power electronics, facilitating the effective utilization of renewable energy & applications in high voltage power electronics.
  12. Proactive drive to integrate power module package development and teams.
  13. Self-starter with a strong ability to seek solutions and work effectively in a team environment.
  14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
