RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Principal Business Analyst extends beyond bridging business requirements and AI technology. You will assist in the deployment of AI solutions across the organization, and to propel the company's broader transformation goals using technology.

Responsibilities

• Agentic Flow Architecture & Enterprise Implementation: Provide leadership for the design, development, and orchestration of AI-driven "agentic flows" that streamline decision-making, automation, and large-scale transformation. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver robust, end-to-end solutions that seamlessly align with existing technology ecosystems, driving heightened efficiency, enterprise-wide scalability, and continuous innovation.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint AI initiatives with the highest ROI and enterprise-wide impact. Add value to business users by proposing re-designed workflows enabled by such AI initiatives after initial development of MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
• Solution Design: Architect and implement AI solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaboration: Work with data scientists, engineers, and business users, fostering a cohesive environment where AI solutions are integrated seamlessly.
• Model Evaluation & Optimization: Champion the continuous improvement of AI solutions, setting standards and ensuring performance thresholds are met or surpassed.
• AI Strategy Development: Keep a finger on the pulse of emerging AI trends, recommending cutting-edge technologies to maintain a competitive edge and future-proof the organization.
• Project & Process Management:
  • Project Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple AI projects concurrently, ensuring business alignment, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present AI solutions and recommended actions to business users, translating complex AI concepts into business language.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Identify and mitigate potential risks—from data governance to ethical AI considerations—while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Candidates with diplomas in related fields and extensive leadership experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in business analysis, data analytics, or AI-driven solutions, including a track record of end-to-end project ownership and advisory to senior stakeholders.
• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience is preferred, ideally leading cross-functional AI or digital transformation teams to drive organizational change at scale.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python and relevant big data tools.
• Prompt Engineering: Proficiency in prompt engineering and agentic workflow.
• AI Models: Good understanding of existing models and their areas of application, with a proven ability to implement these solutions.
• Communication & Influencing: Confidently engage with C-level executives and translate technical roadmaps into actionable business plans.
• High-Level Problem-Solving: Approach complex, enterprise-wide challenges with innovative, data-driven solutions.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Cultivate partnerships across diverse departments, building consensus and ensuring AI solutions meet broad organizational needs.
• Change Management & Mentorship: Skilled in leading transformation initiatives, mentoring junior analysts and managers, and guiding teams through evolving AI landscapes.
• Continuous Learning & Foresight: Passion for staying current on rapidly shifting AI technologies and methodologies, ensuring the organization remains a frontrunner in innovation.
• While certifications are not mandatory, the following remain highly valued:
  • Entry-level business analysis certifications (e.g., from recognized professional bodies such as IIBA or PMI).
  • Foundational or advanced AI/ML certifications (e.g., reputable online course providers or professional organizations).
  • Advanced leadership or management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, or executive leadership programs) would be an added advantage.
