Job summary

Klook is building a Pricing function to decide price with evidence rather than intuition. As Senior Data Scientist, Pricing, you will own the analytical and modelling core of dynamic pricing, elasticity forecasting, the causal-measurement toolkit, and experimentation methodology across markets.

You will design and ship a production analytical stack for demand and elasticity forecasting, balancing conversion, revenue, and profit, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in statistics, economics, CS, or data science, with hands-on pricing experience.
• 5+ years in data science with ownership of pricing, revenue management, or demand forecasting.
• Strong causal inference skills: diff-in-diff, synthetic control, IV, uplift modeling.
• Rigorous experimentation design: power, MDE, randomization, guardrails.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; able to work end-to-end with large data.
• Proven ability to translate analysis into business decisions for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop price-elasticity models and demand forecasts by product, segment, and market.
• Design and run pricing experiments (A/B, geo tests) and interpret results.
• Build production analytics stack for dynamic pricing.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Ops, Platform, Product, and Marketing.
• Communicate insights clearly to senior leaders and drive decisions.
• Monitor model performance and retrain as markets move.
