Job summary

Engg-Tech Pte. Ltd. is seeking qualified Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) to support supervision and quality control of precast production works for building projects across Singapore.

The RTO will supervise precast plants, inspect moulds and materials, monitor production quality and maintain daily records, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications. Candidates must hold valid RTO accreditation under IES/ACES, with at least 3 years of precast experience, and be able to coordinate

Qualifications

• Valid RTO accreditation/certificate under the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in precast construction or precast production for building projects.
• Experience in supervising precast elements for building superstructures will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and maintain good working relationships with consultants, engineers and contractors.
• Must be contactable for urgent inspection and project matters, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Professional, responsible and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and inspecting precast production at approved precast plants.
• Inspecting moulds, materials, reinforcement and pre-pour works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Monitoring production quality, testing, calibration and repair works.
• Maintaining daily site records, inspection reports, checklists and production records.
• Reporting non-conforming works or materials to the Consultant / Resident Engineer.
• Monitoring production progress, delivery schedules and precast stock levels.
• Supporting safety, housekeeping and quality requirements at the precast plant.
• Assisting with the verification and recording of variations and contractor claims.
• Attending meetings and coordinating with engineers, consultants and contractors when required.
