Job summary

RN Care Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician in Singapore to perform wiring, installation, testing, and commissioning of engines and generator sets. The role requires hands-on electrical work and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will install components, troubleshoot faults, operate ET diagnostic tools, and document test results for compliance. A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience and an ITE or equivalent qualification are essential.

Qualifications

ITE or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
Electrical hands-on experience is a must.

Responsibilities

Select, use, and maintain service tools correctly to perform tasks safely.
Install electrical components including switches, sensors, transducers, and control panels.
Perform engine wiring installation per drawings and specifications.
Disassemble and assemble engine components such as oil pumps and cylinder heads.
Carry out engine valve lash adjustments for optimal performance.
Assist in mechanical installation works (radiators, engines, alternators, gearboxes, piping).
Assist in alignment works for radiator assemblies and engines.
Prepare generator sets for load testing activities.
Conduct safety and load testing with proper documentation of results.
Use ET diagnostic tools to retrieve engine data and diagnostics.
Troubleshoot engines and generators, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
Ensure all work complies with safety, quality standards and procedures.
