- Reliability of power supply for low-voltage equipment (e.g., UPS configuration, dual-power switching logic design).
- Compatibility between high-voltage and low-voltage systems (e.g., isolation between POE switch power supply and HV distribution).
- Resolve issues related to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and conflicts in grounding systems (e.g., choice between isolated grounding for low voltage vs. combined grounding).
- International Standards Compliance and Certification Management
- Application of Standards and Certification Support:
- Ensure designs comply with the following key international standards:
- IEC Standards: IEC 61439 (Low-voltage switchgear assemblies), IEC 60947 (Low-voltage switchgear), IEC 60364 (Low-voltage electrical installations).
- CE Directives: LVD (Low Voltage Directive), EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive) – including preparation of technical documentation and testing.
- UL Standards: UL 508A (Industrial Control Panels), UL 891 (Switchgear), UL 50 (Enclosure Ratings).
- Lead or support product certifications (e.g., CE/UL certifications), coordinating with third-party testing agencies (TUV, SGS) to complete testing.
- Localization Standards Integration:
- Harmonize international standards with local regulations (e.g., GB 50052 “Power Distribution System Design Code” and GB 50054 “Low Voltage Power Distribution Code”) to ensure project compliance.
- Full Lifecycle Technology Management
- Early-stage Support:Participate in project feasibility studies, and provide technical and economic analyses for electric system proposals (e.g., equipment localization alternatives).
- Construction Phase:Conduct on-site technical briefings, and resolve construction issues (e.g., cable tray routing overlaps with HVAC piping).
- Operation and Maintenance Phase:Prepare equipment operation and maintenance manuals, and develop contingency plans (e.g., flood prevention measures in distribution rooms, black-start procedures for diesel generators).
