Job summary

The Resource and Carbon Division engages stakeholders to develop policies that optimize resource use and promote emissions reduction, ensuring long-term competitiveness for industry.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Science, Engineering or other relevant disciplines is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and present to non-technical audiences.
  • Interest in policy development and willingness to implement policy changes.
  • Singaporean nationality is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to inform planning and policy decisions for Singapore’s resources.
  • Prepare policy papers and presentations for management and government stakeholders.
  • Develop, manage and review resource efficiency incentives to support policy objectives.
  • Prepare communications to businesses on Singapore’s resource policies.
  • Engage companies to implement resource efficiency and emissions reduction projects.
  • Engage industrial developers and energy services firms to identify solutions.
