Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients independently using specialised podiatry knowledge and skills
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with referring doctors and medical teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
- Ensure accurate patient billing and update performance statistics regularly
- Adhere to clinical and service standards
- Supervise and support podiatrists within the workgroup
- Seek clinical guidance when required to ensure safe and competent practice
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and participate in case conferences
- Assist in preparing monthly performance reports and monitoring key performance indicators
- Co-lead clinical research initiatives within the workgroup
- Manage and update therapy equipment inventory
- Review and enhance clinical protocols and SOPs
- Support project management and departmental quality initiatives
- Contribute to the development and promotion of new clinical services
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the workgroup
- Coordinate clinical education programmes for podiatry students
- Support onboarding and induction of new podiatrists
- Deliver internal training and participate in educational talks and external forums
- Identify training needs and support staff development
- Network strategically with healthcare practitioners
- Continuously update professional knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Degree in Podiatry from a recognised institution
- Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in podiatry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented and customer-focused mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
