Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Product Manager, AI Risk & Merchant Onboarding, to shape onboarding interactions and build a fast, intelligent, trusted experience for merchants worldwide.

You will own the strategy for creating AI-driven risk insights, balancing fraud prevention with a smooth merchant experience, and collaborating across Engineering, Data Science, Risk, and Operations to deliver impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of taking products from ideation through delivery and continuous optimisation.
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmap planning, product discovery and execution for customer-facing or platform products.
• Strong understanding of experimentation, analytics, user journeys and outcome-based product development.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for merchant onboarding, risk decisioning and related merchant experiences.
• Map and optimise the end-to-end journey from discovery and sign-up through verification, activation and product adoption.
• Build AI-powered capabilities that can interpret merchant business context, surface relevant signals and detect emerging risk patterns earlier.
• Turn AI-generated insights into real-time actions through fraud and risk models, including intelligent step-ups, reviews, restrictions or approvals where appropriate.
• Design risk experiences that proactively protect Airwallex and its customers while minimising unnecessary friction for legitimate merchants.
