Job summary

hf engineering construction pte. ltd. is seeking a plumber's assistant to support installation, maintenance, and repair tasks under the guidance of senior plumbers and site supervisors in a Singapore worksite.

The role involves handling water supply and sanitary fittings, pipe cutting and jointing, leak detection, and site housekeeping to ensure smooth operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing knowledge and hands-on ability.
• Good workmanship and attention to safety.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair works as instructed by the Senior Plumber or Site Supervisor.
• Install and replace water supply pipes, PPR pipes, PVC pipes, valves, and pipe fittings.
• Assist with the installation of sanitary fittings, including washbasins, water closets, taps, and floor traps.
• Carry out pipe cutting, threading, jointing, fitting, and basic plumbing work.
• Assist in detecting and repairing water leaks, blocked pipes, and drainage problems.
• Perform water leakage tests and pressure tests under supervision.
• Prepare work areas and assist with hacking, drilling, pipe laying, and reinstatement works.
• Handle plumbing tools, equipment, and materials properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the worksite
