Job summary

ByteDance seeks a seasoned engineer to design intelligent toolkits for large-scale recommendation systems and to lead the end-to-end development from experimentation to deployment. You will contribute to safe release strategies, improve observability in multi-region environments, and drive architectural improvements across the platform.

Ideal candidates have a strong product sense, 3+ years in designing large-scale systems, and hands-on experience with Go, Python, or C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in designing large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go/Python/C++) and data structures knowledge.
• Ability to independently lead technical design and implementation of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design intelligent development toolkits for large-scale recommendation systems.
• Develop business metrics-driven gray release systems for safe, stable releases.
• Enhance observability across multi-region systems with end-to-end tracing.
• Build toolchains to accelerate end-to-end algorithm development to deployment.
• Overhaul platform architectures and develop data intelligence assistants.
