Job summary

FINN is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to scale infrastructure across Southeast Asia and Africa. You will own platform-level infra, shared services, observability, and security tooling, driving a maturity push in CI/CD, IaC, and security.

You will work in a small Platform squad, building and operating high-throughput production systems for a fintech reaching underbanked employees. The role is fully remote with overlap to Asia timezones, offering equity and competitive compensation as part of

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS, multi-cloud).
• Production Kubernetes management and cluster operations.
• IaC at scale with Terraform and modularized state management.
• CI/CD design and deployment automation (blue-green, canary).
• Linux system administration and observability.
• Security mindset with access control, network security, and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Manage container orchestration workloads, including cluster upgrades and autoscaling.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment automation, and quality gates.
• Drive observability with monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing across services.
• Harden security posture with cloud security, automation, and access policies.
• Manage multi-cloud infrastructure across providers.
• Operate messaging infrastructure with event-driven architectures and DLQ management.
• Standardize market launches to deploy infra in days, not weeks.
• Support engineering by providing self-service tooling and troubleshooting.
