About the Project

Sembcorp is expanding the Power and Utility capacity to provide energy, water services and on-site logistic infrastructure to serve multiple customers (“Integrated Solutions Project”, or “Project”).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

This is a contract role with duration tied to completion of the Project. The role will have a direct reporting line to the Project Controls Lead. Responsible for the project controls and administration related matters, including but not limited to:

• Reviewing, monitoring, and commenting on Contractors’ detailed project schedules while collaborating with the project team, as well as critically analyzing project schedules to determine durations and logic issues; assisting in the preparation and analysis of construction claims and time-related disputes.
• Updating project progress and status as well as preparing various reports (presentation slides) related to the site progress, procurement, schedule, delivery, cost & payment tracking, authority permitting, etc., reviewing, verifying, and commenting on Contractors’ various progress reports.
• Tracking, expediting, and reporting on project permitting and approvals with authorities.
• Managing project cost control, monitoring, and reporting; handling progress payment claims & responses and supporting document justification.
• Other tasks assigned by the Project Controls Lead.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quantity survey, business management, or equivalent.
• PMP or Certified Project Planner and Scheduler is a plus.
• Primavera P6 software trained.
• Possess good analytical & communication skills; strong project administration, initiative, interpersonal relationship, and coordination skills to work amicably with internal project teams and external parties.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in power plant project management and control.
