Job summary

A leading company in drilling is seeking a Project Planner to support tender exercises and manage project planning within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience, preferably in airport projects, along with proficiency in relevant project management software. Responsibilities include ensuring data traceability, preparing project plans, and undertaking site visits as necessary.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Construction industry, preferably airport projects.
• Prior experience in airport construction project planning required.
• Good knowledge of project management processes & practices.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Supports in the tender exercise through planning of work execution sequence and value engineering proposals.

• Ensure proper document system are implemented to ensure data traceability.

• Any ad-hoc duties or tasks as assigned by superior or management.

• Ability to understand and convert client’s Project requirements into the required plan to be executed by the project team.

• Prepare and update Project programming plan.

• Experience in Project planning, preferably in the Civil / Structure / Steel Structure / M&E industry.

• Familiarity in the use of Risk and Product Management Software.

• Good knowledge of Project management processes & practices.

• Experience in troubleshooting the problems

• Good Project management skills.

• Planning and configuration to suit Project requirements.

• Ability to plan according to the changing situations, based on client request

• Prepared to make site visits when required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Construction industry, airport project experience is preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction management/ M&E or equivalent.

• Expertise in Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Auto CAD and Microsoft office.

• Well-versed in MS Office software for presentations and Microsoft Project for submissions to client during tender & project execution phase.

• To have prior experience in airport construction project planning with building-related facility.

• Good analytical skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Team player.
