Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking a senior SQL developer to design and deliver complex database solutions for banking clients. You will own the development lifecycle, participate in agile teams, and present proof-of-concept solutions to senior management.

The role requires 7+ years in SQL/PL-SQL with multiple databases, Unix/bash scripting, and capital markets knowledge. Oracle DB expertise and Treasury/Markets applications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL/PL-SQL and multiple databases; Unix/bash scripting; Git Bash; Bitbucket.
• Banking domain knowledge with capital markets understanding.
• Basic understanding of financial products.
• Knowledge of advanced SQL concepts.
• Collaborative, agile team experience with negotiation and conflict handling.
• Develop inter-entity reporting framework.
• Deliver major user enhancements and new reporting solutions.
• Perform code and data model reviews before production releases.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing new projects and enhancements.
• Delivering and presenting proof-of-concept solutions to senior management.
• Working in teams following agile development practices.
• Involvement in development, CI, and time-boxed iterative development.
• Participating in and leading design workshops.
• Performing code reviews and reviews of technical documentation.
• Owning the full development lifecycle and delivering quality technical materials for each project.
