Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking an experienced SQL developer to design and implement complex data solutions across banking platforms. You will own the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reporting and data integration capabilities.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in SQL/PL-SQL, Unix experience, and familiarity with Treasury/Markets applications such as Murex, Kondor, Calypso or Sophis.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL / PL-SQL with multiple databases.
• Proficient in Unix and bash scripting; comfortable with Git Bash.
• Experience in banking domain with understanding of capital markets.
• Knowledge of advanced SQL concepts; able to deliver inter-entity reporting frameworks.
• Experience working in collaborative agile teams; able to negotiate, trade-offs and manage conflicts.
• Able to deliver major user enhancements and reporting solutions; perform code/data model reviews.

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire and delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing new projects and enhancements;
• Delivering and presenting proof-of-concept solutions to senior management;
• Working in teams following agile development practices;
• Being involved in Development, Continuous Integration, and time-boxed iterative development;
• Participating in and leading design workshops;
• Performing code reviews and reviews of technical documentation
• Owning the full development lifecycle, including the delivery of quality technical materials for each project;

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 7+ years of strong hands-on experience in SQL / PL-SQL and multiple databases development plus other technical skills like Unix, bash scripting, Git bash, bit-bucket.
• Experience in banking domain with a good understanding of capital markets industry
• Basic understanding of Financial products
• Knowledge of the advanced SQL concept
• Working in a very collaborative and agile team, you are expected to work, collaborate, negotiate, make trade-offs, and handle conflicts.
• Develop inter-entity reporting framework
• Deliver major user enhancements & new reporting solutions
• Perform code/data model reviews before production releases

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Oracle Database SQL Expert Certified will be preferable.
• Experience in supporting Treasury & Markets Applications (Murex, Kondor, Calypso, Sophis etc)
