Job summary

RMA Contracts Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Principal Designer – Piping with extensive offshore experience to lead piping and layout design for brownfield and greenfield projects. You will collaborate with the Piping Design Lead, ensure compliance with client specs, and drive 3D modelling using E3D/PDMS.

The role requires 15 years in upstream offshore Oil & Gas, proficiency in E3D/PDMS, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and MDS, and a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

• 15 years+ experience in upstream offshore Oil & Gas as Piping Principal/Lead Designer.
• Experience with E3D/PDMS, MDS, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Experience on Norwegian projects and familiarity with NCS/UKCS standards.
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI/NTC in Mechanical Drafting.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping and layout design activities and coordinate with the Piping Design Lead.
• Follow client specifications and project procedures for piping layout design.
• Conduct 3D modelling for piping, supports, and routes using E3D/PDMS/Navisworks.
• Perform design reviews to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
• Issue discipline deliverables using project templates.
• Coordinate with multi-location offices and attend meetings.
