Job summary

Core Fitness is a private physiotherapy clinic and Pilates studio on Orchard Road. We seek a Senior Physiotherapist to join on a flexi-work basis, managing your own private caseload and applying Pilates-based exercise within treatment sessions.

You will work in a one-to-one setting without group classes, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver whole-person musculoskeletal care and premium private care for discerning clients.

Qualifications

• Full AHPC registration with a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum 6 years of post-qualification clinical physiotherapy experience.
• Pilates trained with ability to apply Pilates clinically.
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning across musculoskeletal presentations.
• Confident working independently and managing your own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat clients in a one-to-one private setting.
• Design and progress individualised treatment plans with Pilates-based exercise.

About Core Fitness

Core Fitness is a private physiotherapy clinic and Pilates studio operating as a single integrated practice. Established in 2011 on Orchard Road, we were among the first in Singapore to bring physiotherapy and Pilates together within one clinical environment.

Every session we deliver is one-to-one and private. We do not run group classes. Our clients are discerning and research-led, and they come to us for expert, individualised care across the full arc of their movement health, from acute pain through rehabilitation and into long-term maintenance. We are wellness-forward in how we care for people and clinically premium in how we practise.

This role sits within our physiotherapy team, one of three practitioner teams (physiotherapy, Pilates, and bodywork) who cross-refer and share clinical context so that clients experience seamless, continuous care.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to join us on a flexi-work basis. This is a role for an established clinician who values autonomy, thrives in a one-to-one setting, and is committed to whole-person musculoskeletal care rather than transactional treatment.

You will manage your own caseload of private clients, applying Pilates-based exercise clinically within your treatment sessions and referring across teams where a client's goals call for it. The flexi-work arrangement gives you control over your schedule, making this well suited to experienced practitioners who want to practise at a high standard without a fixed full-time commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat clients across musculoskeletal and neuro-musculoskeletal presentations in a one-to-one private setting.
• Design and progress individualised treatment plans, integrating Clinical Pilates (Pilates-based exercise) within sessions where clinically indicated.
• Manage clients across our physiotherapy areas, including chronic pain, scoliosis, sports injuries, geriatric care, and pre and post-natal physiotherapy.
• Cross-refer appropriately to the Pilates and bodywork teams as a client's condition stabilises or their goals evolve, and receive referrals in return.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support insurance claim requirements where applicable.
• Uphold the standard of care and clinical rigour expected of a premium private practice.
• Contribute to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team culture built on shared clinical context.

Requirements (Essential)

• Full AHPC registration with a valid practising certificate (Allied Health Professions Council, Singapore).
• Minimum 6 years of post-qualification clinical physiotherapy experience.
• Pilates trained, with the ability to apply Pilates-based exercise clinically within treatment.
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills across a broad range of musculoskeletal presentations.
• Confident working independently and managing your own caseload in a one-to-one environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-centred, whole-person approach to care.

Desirable

• Confidence in managing scoliosis patients is a strong advantage. Scoliosis management is one of our core areas of expertise, and a clinician who is comfortable assessing and treating scoliosis presentations will be highly valued.
• Experience in one or more of our other focus areas: sports rehabilitation, active ageing, or pre and post-natal care.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation-focused Pilates principles and equipment.
• Additional certifications or special interests that complement our integrated model.
