The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, server-side programming, and backend architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend services, working with databases, caching mechanisms, and ensuring high-performance, scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (Yii, CodeIgniter, or Laravel). Upgrade and optimize existing PHP applications (e.g., migration from PHP 5 to PHP 7+). Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications. Optimize database queries and structures using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL (Redis, Cassandra, Elasticsearch). Implement caching solutions like Memcached, Redis, and optimize performance. Work on server-side architecture, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment and automation. Work with microservices architecture and integrate with third-party systems. Monitor and maintain backend performance using logging, system monitoring, and debugging tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers.Key Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Yii, CodeIgniter, Laravel, or Symfony). Strong knowledge of server-side programming, API development, and system architecture. Experience with database optimization, replication, and caching mechanisms. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based infrastructure. Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Kafka for search and real-time data processing. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in high-traffic, scalable applications. Experience with continuous integration, deployment automation, and monitoring tools. Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Vue.js) is a plus.Preferred Qualifications Experience in migrating monolithic applications to microservices.
