Senior Pharmacy Technician (Government Sector/ Cap $5,000)

1. Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers
2. Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
3. Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
4. Perform billing functions
5. Ensures work area is ready for daily operations
6. Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
7. Involvement in workplace quality improvement projects/activities as and when required

1. Ensures stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
2. Performs topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
3. Ensures correct receiving of goods
4. Secondary repackaging/redressing
5. Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs

1. Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures

1. Possess Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) OR Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
2. Completed Basic Skill Test OR Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
3. Have initiative and able to work independently to achieve goals of the department
