An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to join their pharmacy team. Job Responsibilities
Administration & Housekeeping
Conduct regular checks on the equipment used in pharmacy e.g. refrigerators, computers printers, fax machine, etc.
Monitor the maintenance of equipment and keep proper records of equipment maintenance.
Assist supervisors in contacting the relevant vendors for the rectification works.
Ensure proper housekeeping of the pharmacy premises and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness at the work area and storerooms.
Ensure that dispensing consumables are topped up at the dispensing counters daily.
Inventory
Replenishment of stocks in the pharmacy and patient information leaflets.
Assist in the receipt and checking of stocks according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist in the monitoring of consumables
Inspection on the conditions of stocks to ensure that stocks are stored in the appropriate storage conditions.
Ensure that products displayed are in good condition.
Maintain a high and accurate standard in the pre-packing of tablets/capsules and lotions, according to documented procedures.
Monitor stock levels of pre-packed medications; plan pre-packing schedule and update pre-pack records.
Assist in stock counting in stock-takes and cycle counts.
IT & Automation
Involve in repackaging process and conduct quality control checks
Monitor the stock status of the repackaging consumables and alert supervisors when stocks are low.
Assist in scheduling of repackaging, preparation of materials, conduct quality control checks, and maintenance of repackaging records & production tickets.
Operational
To check on the validity of the medicine, process and interpret the prescriptions according to set standard and guidelines
Quality Improvement & Assurance
Participate and assist in implementation of quality assurance, quality improvement projects and activities.
Suggest improvement to workflow and processes.
Job Requirements
GCE N or O Level Qualification with 1 to 2 years of working experience in a Healthcare/Polyclinic setting
Excellent service oriented and has good interpersonal skills
Good team player and self-motivated.
Must be able to differentiate colors due to work purposes.
