Job summary

Alexandra Hospital Pharmacy in Singapore seeks a pharmacist to join a collaborative, patient-centred team focused on safe and accurate dispensing and holistic care.

You will work with doctors, nurses and allied health staff, supported by technicians, to deliver timely medication management and continuous learning within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate and timely dispensing of medications
• Work closely with pharmacy technicians, assistants, and fellow pharmacists to deliver coordinated and efficient care
• Support day to day pharmacy operations, such as medication packing when needed
• Work with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic care to patients
• Contribute to and support training under the guidance of senior colleagues
• Participate in service improvement and innovation initiatives
• Undertake additional roles and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental goals

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Hospital experience desired but not necessary.
• Able to work independently or with minimal guidance.
• Good listening and communication skills.

This is a 2 year contract position. Renewal of the contract will be subject to satisfactory performance and vacancy availability.
