A leading retail company is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to oversee payroll processing for its extensive operations. This role offers an opportunity to ensure compliance with labor laws while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes. Ideal candidates will have experience in high-volume payroll environments and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer (Retail) to manage end-to-end payroll processing for our large-scale, multi-store retail operations. This role ensures compliance with local labour laws, accuracy in payroll cycles, and supports internal audits and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Process full-cycle payroll for a high-volume workforce across multiple stores.
Well versed in Progressive wage model (PWM)
Tabulations and processing of Sales Commissions
Manage CPF, income tax (IR8A), levies, and other statutory submissions in compliance with MOM and IRAS.
Review and implement changes in compensation (e.g. bonuses, increments, resignations).
Support audits and ensure documentation is in order for internal and external review.
Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams for seamless integration and data accuracy.
Continuously improve payroll processes and policies.
Generate reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
Requirements:
· Experience in EasyPay is an advantage
· Experience in payroll operations in high-volume, multi-store retail environments.
· Min 4 years of experience in handling payroll with more than 300 headcounts
· Proficient in using v-lookup and Pivot table
